Suicidal Tendencies And Unwritten Law Announce Australian Tour Dates

One of the most badass tours we’ve seen for some time is set to make its way to our shores this summer. Bringing their West Coast punk-rock fury, Suicidal Tendencies have announced their return Down Under, bringing with them Aussie crowd favourites Unwritten Law and the hooligan sensibilities of Finnish trouble makers The Dudesons.

Though we haven’t received an album from Suicidal Tendencies in more than a decade, the band have kept true to their loyal cult-like following and are keeping the gigging at a constant level. The Soundwave alumini have made the trip down a few times over the past years, far more than most of their peers, with the band’s last stint on our stages taking place just last year. Rumours of new material have been spreading since 2000, though the band themselves have confirmed that there is, in fact, something in the pipeline.

Unwritten Law are almost at the stage of earning citizenship by the amount of times they tour here, and unlike the thoeries strictly set in place by Keynesian economics, supply is not outstripping demand whatsoever. This will mark the 3rd tour Down Under since their latest release Black Swan, with the band last in town for this year’s Soundwave.

Now, The Dudesons don’t need much of an introduction. Think Jackass but way more Eastern European. These dudes know no fear, or maybe it’s just that they know no shame, either way it’s so awful and painful and grotqesue that you won’t be able to look away, something we can all really get into. Except Adelaide. Adelaide won’t be getting The Dudesons this time round.

All three will be performing at the debutant Australian event for SRH Fest. SRH, or Support Radical Habits (name changes depending on who you’re speaking too) is a Las Vegas-based clothing brand who have experienced a multitude of success through the event in the US, and are now bringing it to Melbourne for the ultimate fusion of summer, open air events, and punk rock.
